The Program 

In December 2008, the Jumpin Jimmy’s team decided we wanted to do more than “Customer Appreciation Days”.  Although we loved those summer months filled with cookouts, give aways and friendly faces, we were looking for something year long and that would help give back to the community.  After researching the Effingham Unit 40 Foundation and discovering what they have done to advance education in the Effingham school district, we decided it was a perfect match! 

Jumpin Jimmy’s is now partnering with the Effingham Unit 40 Foundation.  By donating 1 cent from every gallon of unleaded fuel sold at an Effingham Jumpin Jimmy’s location.  It doesn’t matter which location you fuel up at, 1 penny for every gallon will be donated!

With donations such as ours, the Foundation is able to enrich the classroom environment.  Teachers may submit applications requesting certain material for classroom projects, several scholarships have become available, and more.  Although the Foundation cannot meet all of their requests, they work hard to satisfy as many as possible. 

Also partnering with Jumpin Jimmy's is Dieterich, Altamont, and St. Elmo.  A proceeds of sales from each of these locations is also given back to the school district.
