Kathy and Bobbi would like to thank everyone for all their hard work in supporting the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life fundraiser over the past several months.  On behalf of Jumpin Jimmy's, they donated $26,000 to Relay For Life.  Thanks to all the managers who helped sell the cookbooks and who collected money on jean days.  Job well done!!!!! 

We had a great time Sunday at the KC parade.  Team Jumpin Jimmy's handed out over 1000 coozies, key chains, and bottle openers.  Our new t-shirts were looking good on everyone who caught them.  The drink coupons that were handed out can be returned to any Jumpin Jimmy's for a free fountain drink.  We are already looking forward to next years parade.

We have just added a new store to Jumpin Jimmy's,  Jimmy's Wine Cellar and Liquor Cabinet Teutopolis.  This is now our second full service liquor store and we strive to be your one stop beverage destination.  We are located at 101 W. Main so come on by and see us.

We now have the Jumpin Jimmy's cookbook for only $10.00.  These cookbooks have nearly 500 recipes to choose from and include appetizers to main dishes to desserts.  The proceeds from the sale of these cookbooks will be donated to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.  Stop by any Jumpin Jimmy's and pick one up today.

Jumpin Jimmy's is a supporter of the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. In our support for the American Cancer Society ,we will be donating $1.00 from every car wash sold to Relay For Life. So when winter weather has left its mark on your vehicle and  you decide you've had enough, stop by our carwash on the corner of Herietta and Fayette Avenue in Effingham and let us take care of you.  The carwash is open 24 hours and has 4 wash options to satisfy your needs.  Not only will you leave with a sparkling clean vehicle but you will be helping donate to Relay for Life.

This past year has been quite a year for the Partners in Education Program.  We started this program with the Unit 40 Foundation in December 2008 and over the past year we have donated over $29,000 to the Foundation.

With this, we have been able to provide 2 scholarships, one to Edward Swingler and the other to Brittany Hahn.  Good luck in pursuing your dreams.

We have also sponsored the 10 first grade classrooms of Unit 40.  Each classroom received a grant for $250 which will be used to provide educational aides to 195 students.  I believe a projector was purchased to help the teachers in their classroom presentations.

We are continuing this program in 2010, help us continue this success.

What a great month for the Partners in Education Program.  With your help, we were able to give nearly $250 to the St Elmo Unit 202 Foundation and $322 to the Dieterich Unit 30 Foundation.  Thank you for all the support this program has been given.

What a great Christmas party we had today.  We gave away several service awards, achievement awards, and the award of the day was Manager of the Year.  There were several managers who were worthy of this award, but the Manager of the Year for 2009 was Shelly White from Mattoon Lakeland located next to Lakeland College.  Stop by and congratulate her the next time you are in the Mattoon area.

For those of you who have visited the St Elmo Jumpin Jimmy's over the past 2 weeks you already knew we were remodelling.  If you haven't, let me tell you we have been making a few changes to our St Elmo store the least of which has been the addition of a drive thru window.  Give us a few more days and we will have it completed.  Dave is on the project; it's as good as done.
